☀️ Don’t Burn Yourself Out - Why Taking a Break Matters ☀️

We’re all about spreading kindness and looking after your mental and physical health here at Innabox, and that means practising what we preach! Burnout can sneak up on anyone, and we know it’s time to step back just a little before our creative batteries run flat. 😅

From 5th–18th August, we’re slowing things down to focus on rest and recharging. We’ll still be at all our planned events and markets (so if you’re coming along, we’ll see you there! Find our market dates below), but behind the scenes we’re minimising our workload to give ourselves the breathing room we need.

This means order dispatches will pause during this time, but our shop will still be open so you can order as usual and we’ll send everything out as soon as we’re back! 🌈

🌟 Why breaks are essential

When you don’t give yourself time to rest, you risk burning out — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Burnout isn’t just feeling tired; it’s feeling completely drained, unmotivated, and overwhelmed. And we’ve all been there.
Taking regular breaks helps:

  • Give your brain time to reset

  • Reduce stress on your body and mind

  • Boost creativity and focus

  • Improve your overall mood and wellbeing

☀️ What “taking a break” looks like

A break doesn’t have to be a week-long holiday! It can be as simple as...

  • Making a cup of tea and sitting somewhere cosy

  • Going for a short walk in the fresh air

  • Spending a few minutes doing something you enjoy: doodling, reading, playing with your pet

  • Putting your phone down and just… breathing

If you’ve seen our Don’t Burn Yourself Out product range, you’ll know it’s one of our favourite gentle reminders. Now we’re following it ourselves! Stepping back before we hit that point of exhaustion.
